Petite Dancers

Petite Dancers ages (3-6)

Preparatory ballet movement where students learn proper classroom etiquette, coordination, musicality, spatia awareness and much more!

Monday, 4:00-5:00 p.m., ages 3 - 6 years old

Classical Ballet of Mobile prides itself on nurturing young people in a safe, family-friendly, fun way. Boys and girls are invited to dance with us for the joy of the art in “Petite Ballet” classes.

Ballet classes stretch a child’s imagination as they dance to classical music. Ballet keeps children moving, which is beneficial for growth in developing bodies. Ballet expands the minds, boosting self-esteem, and teaching self-discipline.

The early years are characterized by curiosity and excitement in discovering new abilities. It’s important for our youngest dancers to train their developing muscles slowly and safely, therefore admittance to the Academy level of dance is typically reserved for more physically and logically mature pre-adolescents.

Remember: Petite Dancers are placed in classes according to their age and skill level. Class placement will be at the discretion of faculty.

Classical Ballet of Mobile honors childhood. Our dance technique, music and costuming selections uphold the innocence of youth. Conservative, classical dancers belong at the family-focused Classical Ballet of Mobile.
