Boys Ballet Division

Talented male ballet dancers - known as “danseurs” - are in high demand!

It's no secret that girls outnumber boys in dance classes, especially in Alabama. Male ballet dancers will always be needed in both Academy and Company environments. Talented danseurs often have long, profitable, and rewarding on-stage careers. Life skills learned at the ballet begin early.

DANSEURS’ SKILLS

Strength • Flexibility • Agility • Endurance • Emotional Intelligence • Discipline • Work Ethic • Respect • Perseverance • Resilience • Humility • Self-Motivation • Creativity • Diligence • Commitment • Teamwork

 BOYS SCHEDULE

Ballet technique with emphasis on coordination, jumping, turning, balance, fast footwork, and agility. These skills will transfer to many sports and help build confidence in sure-footed movement. This is a great class to take as an adjunct to sports training, and an oft-welcome alternative to tackling peers!

Danseurs are welcome at all levels. Without danseurs, we cannot bring some of the most magical grand ballets to life!

Class schedules are subject to change at any time.
